Learn more about our multi sensor DeviceX
DeviceX is a self-contained multi sensor device that autonomously monitors chemical reactions in the reaction flask. It communicates with a separate DigitalController device that collects and transmits sensor data ready for subsequent analysis and data mining in the deepmatter (dm) cloud. As the sensor data is uploaded immediately to the cloud it is available in real-time from our RecipeRunner tablet application or DigitalGlassware® web browser application. DeviceX is USB rechargeable and available as part of the DigitalGlassware® package.

A novel flask adapter allows the device to be placed into a variety of flask sizes with a neck size of B19 or B24. Other neck sizes can also be supported.
The flask adapter can slide on and off the device without any disassembly required.
Data over USB or Bluetooth
DeviceX transmits the sensor data over USB or Bluetooth to a digital controller which is a paired, smart collection device. The DigitalController and DeviceX together monitor the data in real-time and automate the collection of data for analysis in the deepmatter cloud.
Bluetooth connectivity is used to transmit all of the sensor data except video, which requires a separate USB link to the DigitalController.
Battery and USB power
Powered by an internal rechargeable 2000mAh Li-Ion battery, the sensor device can operate for up to 6-8 hours and can be also charged during longer experiments using the USB connection.
