As standard DigitalGlassware^® Recipes contain a customisable chemical safety section that allows you to search and select from a database of hazard and precaution (H- and P- respectively) codes. However to ensure you receive high quality and relevant chemical safety information, we have introduced an Auto-Safety Information tool which utilises safety information available from PubChem chemical records (which in turn follow the Global Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) system) for identified chemicals in your Recipe. The whole process can be done quickly in your browser, producing complete chemical safety information for your reaction with a simple click of a button. Once you are satisfied this safety information can be exported from DigitalGlassware^® as a PDF or a CSV file, allowing you to use it within the safety framework of your laboratory. Additionally this safety information is available with you at every step of your DigitalGlassware^® Recipe run using our RecipeRunner tablet app as standard.
